MEPs are expected to endorse the Compromise Amendments of the Parliament’s Environment Committee (ENVI) for the Directive on Industrial Emissions (recast) in Plenary on 9-12 March 2009.

The European Parliament voted to adopt in plenary first reading the Environment Committee’s Report on a recast of the Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) Directive almost in its entirety earlier this month.
