Australia confirms negotiations on carbon trading with the EU

In early December 2011, Australia’s negotiations with the EU regarding carbon market trading became official. The Terms of Reference for the Australia-Europe Senior Officials Talks (SOT) on Climate Change were released on 5 December 2011 and talks will commence in 2012.
