Environmental Produc Declaration Working together with ECRA, the European Cement Research Academy, CEMBUREAU completed in 2008 the Environmental Product Declaration (EPDⁱ) for Portland cement (CEM I).

Intended for B2Bⁱ (Business-to-Business) use, the EPD aims to provide measurable and verifiable input for the environmental assessment of construction works. CMBUREAU has also provided life cycle inventory (LCIⁱ) data on Portland cement (CEM I) in Europe to the European Reference Life Cycle Data System (ELCDⁱ) of the European Commission’s European Platform on LCA.
